According to Belle Fontaine:
To Purchase : The actual font used is called Crillee Extra Bold Italic. If you want to purchase the real deal, you can buy it from International Typeface Corporation. The webpage for the font is http://www.esselte.com. They even have an online logo generator at the bottom of the page that you can use to try out the font with your own text! Unfortunately, this text isn't shareware or freeware.
For Free : To get a very similar (though not identical) look to the Team Banzai font, you can download Crillee Regular and use HTML or any word processing program with internal formatting to bold the text. It's the closest I've found that you can get without paying $39.99 for the font itself!
For the Mac - Point your browser to: http://www.erik.co.uk/font/serif.html. Not only will you find Crillee on the alphabetical list (postcardware--no money, just send a postcard to the author if you like!), but a bunch of other fun and useful fonts as well.
For the PC - Here's a site that has Crillee available for download on the Web, totally free - The Star Trek Explorer Fonts http://www.pathcom.com/~boby/fonts.htm
There is a model kit of the Red Lectroid spaceship piloted by Buckaroo Banzai and John Parker at the Monsters in Motion website located at http://www.monstersinmotion.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=137.
